APPLE+ INVASION
Where were you when they arrived? What were the signals? A being so advanced would come cloaked in darkness and use methods beyond our comprehension to subvert the awareness of our fate. But first, they must eliminate our grid.
My concept for Apple+ INVASION explores a scene immediately after they disturb our peaceful lives. Various shots of recently inhabited spaces are now left flickering with ghost-like artifacts of energy pulsing through our electrical grid. The camera moves and slides through scenes with calm pacing, cut with sharp flashes, disrupting an otherwise peaceful flow. A nightmarish emptiness fills every dead space as the camera rotates to flip the world upside down, embellished with a growling swell. But where are the people?
All hide; nowhere is safe. Remnants of life spark through our civilization's collective nervous system, reminding us that things will never be the same after an invasion.
